Paint Protection Film (PPF) is one of the best ways to protect your vehicle’s paint from end to end. PPF
is a clear, lightweight film composed of urethane, when applied to your vehicle it will work to protect
the paint from scuffs, scratches, chips, and even chemical damage.
Traveling at high speeds, its inevitable that something as small as a pebble will be kicked up and hit your
vehicle, causing chips or surface damage. Paint Protection Film guards your vehicle against this
common scenario as well as many others.
The process.
Evolution Auto Spa uses STEK Paint Protection Film, a high quality, self-healing film that comes in different finishes such as gloss, satin, or matte. No matter what type of look you want your vehicle to have, we have you covered, literally.
Our installation process differs from other shops and dealerships who offer PPF services. Our PPF is custom fitted and hand cut for each panel it is applied to. Many dealerships and shops use a simple software program where the vehicle’s make and model is inputted, and a plotter cuts the shape
of each panel.
This method is called “pre-cut”. The limitations with pre-cut PPF is that the plotter does not
account for the edges of each panel. When installed, you see the ends of where the plotter cut the
film. Another shortcoming of pre-cut film is the holes it must rest around any logos,
emblems, or badges. Over time, dirt and grime get caught in the film’s edges and is extremely difficult
to clean.
Our custom cut method avoids all these issues. We account for the edges of each panel, the PPF is
wrapped completely around and adhered to the back side of the panels, making it impossible to tell it
has Paint Protection Film. We also remount emblems and badges during the
installation process so the finished result is clean and undetectable.
